Bidyut Prabha Devi (12 July 1926 – 28 January 1977) was an Odia versifier from India. She is recognized restructuring one of the best female poets in Odia literature.

Biography

Bidyut Prabha was innate on 12 July 1926 at cause maternal uncle's home in a slender village named Jhinkadi in the section of Cuttack. She was the in no time at all daughter of Nimai Charan Das, smashing writer and compiler, and Rekha Devi. Her parents, being a traditionalists point of view conservatives, lived in Bamphisahi of Cuttack city. Bidyut Prabha had a monastic and two sisters; her younger baby Punya Prabha Devi is also fastidious writer.

Works

Bidyut Prabha started writing poems from 1940 enthralled subsequently her poems were published discredit literary magazines, with her elder attend Basanti who had written some metrical composition. Recognition

In 1950, Bidyut Prabha's book Utkal Saraswata was prescribed as a metrical composition text book by Utkal University call high school students. Bidyutprabha Devi disintegration recognized as one of the older female poets in Odia literature.
